Meet our founder
Zohar Strinka is a data scientist, an entrepreneur and a consultant, and holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.
She is passionate about making the best possible use of scarce resources, and helping people solve the right problem – the most effective way to achieve the outcome you want.
The two passions collided in 2008, when Zohar took her first optimization course. For the first time, her engineering classes matched how she solved practical problems.
Zohar’s search for a reliable way to help clients recognize when there was a better problem to solve, led her to study project management methodologies including Systems Engineering, Lean, Agile, and more.
Her Eureka moment came when she realized the tools she had learned in optimization could be the key to developing a new framework for problem solving. That insight was the spark that prompted her to found Analytics Strategies to use data and analytics to help leaders of mid-market companies invest more effectively in their operations.
